Climbing Ararat (5167 m) - the highest peak in Turkey and simply a legendary mountain. Technically, the route is quite simple (easier than Elbrus or Kazbek), the main difficulty is in the altitude (lack of oxygen) and weather.

Day by dayItinerary

Day 1. Gathering in Dogubayazit

Group gathering in Turkey at a hotel in the small town of Dogubayazit (formerly Bayazet). The nearest airports are in the cities of Igdir (1 hour by bus) and Van (3 hours by bus). There are no direct flights there - only with transfers from Istanbul or Ankara. It is advisable to arrive in Dogubayazit no later than 18:00 in order to have time to double-check your equipment and food.

Trip conditions

To travel around Turkey you need a passport! But citizens of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus do not need a visa - neither to Turkey nor to Georgia.

The instructor has the right to make changes to the route depending on weather, group condition and other factors.

The instructor has the right not to allow the participant to climb if his health condition is of concern.

Booking

Порядок оплаты: Чтобы забронировать место в группе надо внести предоплату - 50 евро. В случае отказа от участия, предоплата не возвращается, но может быть передана другому участнику или сохранена на будущее (для оплаты других туров). Остаток стоимости тура оплачивается при встрече группы в Турции. В случае преждевременного схода с маршрута, деньги не возвращаются.
