Hello everyone from sunny Antalya. The first hike in Turkey this year (and the third in our history) - "Lycian Trail" - has ended. Now I'm waiting for the next group to arrive and have the opportunity to write a little (translit, however).
The hike went great - most of the way it wasn't too hot and we were able to successfully complete the planned route. Including trying out a new picturesque section from Hisarchandir through Sarychinar to Goynuk.
On Takhtali we found quite alpine landscapes - snow all around and clouds below us. And on the descent from this mountain, those same clouds turned the cedar forest into a fairy-tale forest.
And at the end of the trip, having gone down to the coast, we slowly crawled from one bay to another, swam a lot (the Mediterranean Sea had already warmed up) and sunbathed.
A huge number of our compatriots flocked to Turkey for the May holidays. On the route we met 6-7 Russian-speaking groups and, what’s nice, they all knew about Outdoor Ukraine and read our route (and my memories of the meeting with the scorpion).
And next week, a small group and I are going to explore a new route in Western Lycia - the Fethiye and Oludeniz region. And then we go to Cappadocia. Look for these routes to appear on the website at the end of May
