This report is about the tour: Bakhchisaray-Yalta
Report on the active tour “Bakhchisaray-Yalta” June 14-19.
After meeting at the station and distributing food, a friendly flock of us, led by the instructor, Anna (a very fragile and graceful girl), headed to Bakhchisarai. Listening to the guide and using our imagination to the maximum, we walked around the Khan’s Palace, imprinting in our memory the little that our ancestors brought to us untouched. Next on our route was the Assumption Monastery and the holy spring, which nourished our bodies and souls with their unique energy, thanks to which, before we knew it, we were already in Chufut-Kala.
Once you find yourself in this cave city and touch the history, you realize that you simply cannot leave. Not at all because I’m tired, but because it’s simply impossible to stop admiring the nature around you. But we still had to go down for the night.
2nd day The second day of the hike began with birdsong, bright sunshine, dew and, of course, a very tasty breakfast served by our instructor. Having dried and collected our tents, we set off in the direction of another cave city, Tepe-kermen. Having passed the Karaite cemetery and the Kyz-kermen plateau, we found ourselves at the foot of the Tepe-kermen settlement. Unfortunately, not only pleasant surprises awaited us that day. “Two fighters” of our detachment did not reach Kachi-kalyon with us. One of the tourists stumbled while exiting the bus, and it was so unfortunate that she “earned” a torn ligament. We had to involve an insurance company (fortunately, all participants in the active tour are insured) and an ambulance... Together with the victim, her sister left the group, so nine of us crossed Alimov Beam.
Day 3. Through Alimov Beam, Mount Kurushlyuk along the Medved tract we descended to the village of Malosadovoye. We spent the night near the Chelter-Koba cave monastery. Father Daniel introduced us to the monastery. Both the monastery itself and its abbot seem to be shrouded in a haze of sincerity and holiness, which we were able to “touch”.
Day 4. We started this sunny day with a visit to the Suren fortress, or more precisely, what was left of it. And, unfortunately, there is not much left. But even this “not much”, surrounded by rocks and a riot of greenery, left pleasant memories and not bad shots. Having arrived by bus to Sokolinoe, we continued our journey along the Yusupov trail in the direction of the Grand Canyon. Having set up camp, we went for rejuvenating treatments!!! Swimming in the Bath of Youth left an indelible impression. And, strictly speaking, there is nothing more to smooth out. You take one dip and not a single wrinkle!!!!! For me, this day was filled with emotions and new sensations, maybe that’s why I liked it the most.
Day 5. Along the Blue Lake, through the Boyko massif, we reached the mouth of the Canyon. Having gone around it, we began to climb Ai-Petri. This climb probably shouldn’t have been easy, but we were rejuvenated. Therefore, before we knew it, it was time to set up camp and spend the night.
Day 6. The time has come for our last camping and delicious (many thanks to our instructor) breakfast. After which we began our descent along the Taraktash trail to the Uchan-su waterfall, the final destination of our journey.
P.S. I really liked the instructor! It is generally impossible to describe the beauty of the surrounding nature, and the fact that I have already decided on the route for next year, I think, speaks for itself.
THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!
