Stirlitz in disgrace

In the morning a fire truck drove through Dzhurla. “Fire,” thought Stirlitz and followed the car. Two hours later, already on Mount Stirlitz, he saw a column of white smoke and hid. This was a very timely decision - a couple of seconds later the same fire truck and a couple of UAZs rumbled past. “We’re off to lunch,” thought Stirlitz, looking after the mechanization moving away from the burning forest.
