This hike was one of the “correct” ones - at the beginning it was hard for everyone, at the end it was easy. After all, a hike is also a vacation, albeit an active one. We only walked 52 kilometers, but no one can blame us for being inactive. Efforts are not measured in kilometers. Joy, in fact, too... And there was something to be happy about. And good weather, and conquered peaks, and simple human communication.
On the very first day, a cloud covered us and we got wet to the skin. This was an excellent opportunity to visit the speleologists and warm up by their luxurious fireplace in the banquet hall.
Then there was a very steep descent through the wet Yew Gorge. Actually there was nothing complicated. It was just a bit dirty, and I really didn’t want to swim in this mud.
And we walked to Demerdzhi under the scorching sun. It ironed us out so diligently that that day we decided not to go further, but to rest a little.
To make things easier, we began to entertain each other with riddles and logical riddles. I must say that the maneuver was a success - no one noticed fatigue.
We met many other tourists. We greeted each other, got to know each other, exchanged impressions and food. More precisely, they wanted to change - there were a lot of mushrooms around and a few potatoes were missing for complete happiness.
The hike ended happily - on the seashore. It was fun because we walked together through the village, hung with bundles of brushwood. It was fun because we found a free beach and met friends there. It's fun because we finally ate some potatoes.
