Today, December 11, is International Mountain Day. It is quite logical that climbers and hikers do not miss this opportunity to congratulate each other and wish for new routes, light backpacks and other hiking joys. Although in fact, this “holiday” was conceived by the UN to draw attention to the development of poor mountainous areas of the earth, to the protection of nature, support of the local population and other serious, non-tourist problems.
This year, the “theme” of Mountain Day was the culture and traditions of mountain residents. Therefore, I propose, before it’s too late, to adjust your congratulations and wish your fellow tourists a deep and comprehensive acquaintance with the culture of the mountaineers, which is slipping into eternity))
There should only be one left!... if you understand me.
