Our small group successfully reached Everest Base Camp and climbed Kalapathar (5600m). These faceless words hide 10 days of headaches and nausea, 2 cubic meters of ingested dust and several hours of nervous waiting for a helicopter (one of the participants was evacuated for medical reasons). Now all this is behind us, we are warm again (with plenty of food and a long-awaited hot shower) and therefore we can dream of returning to the Himalayas in the spring-autumn 2017.
