Today this Nepalese man from the photo prepared lunch for us (cooked soup, fried an omelette and made tea). He has been to Everest twice, he has his own lodge (shelter) in Kumjung, but today his wife is not at home and it was he who cooked for tourists. To be honest, it was awkward, because in our understanding, a climber who has been to Everest is such a celestial being and he is not supposed to “burn pots.”
And in the evening we went into a shop with counterfeit equipment in Namche Bazaar, where the seller was a Sherpa who had visited Everest three times. It seems that everyone was THERE, and this is no longer enough to be crowned with laurels and freed from worries. #Nepal
