What is Svaneti for me?

It would be wrong and loud to say that I studied or learned it completely. Only a very small, but such a significant and proud piece of it that I was able to see is Svaneti. Imagine a place where nature and humans practically do not fight for territory. A place where everything remains almost in its original form. A place that only partially, but quite organically, allowed a person to share his existence with himself.

A life where the past is inextricably intertwined with the present, but at the same time, when faced with this, you feel the aftertaste of consistency, your own history and steadfastness.

It is very difficult to catch the line and draw a clear line in what you see. Transition line from green planet Earth and snowy mountains. And only an unobtrusive division, not even a division, but an integral addition to the general landscape - the rivers. Opaque, uncontrollable, restless and breathing mountain streams. The melody with which you fall asleep, sleep and wake up. A melody that makes your arms and legs actively move, but so lulls your thoughts and takes them so far with you.

How can you describe what you see to a modern person who has not been to this country? - This is when everything you see and photograph does not require additional processing in a photo editor. Because you simply don’t want to upset the balance of naturalness and simplicity of what surrounds you.
