We are trying to get close to the Eagles' Trail (Orla Pepper). This is already a very extreme route, and then it turned out that all the northern couloirs were densely packed with snow, completely covering the safety chains. To be on the safe side and not fly into the abyss, you have to imitate working with an ice ax - driving trekking poles and your own fists into the snow.
