We were driven from Komovo to Durmitor by a local driver in an old Volkswagen Transporter T3, probably born somewhere in the early eighties. There was a noticeable smell of gasoline inside, there were no vents on the windows in the cabin, and the driver stubbornly did not open his window for fear of drafts. In addition, the interior, devoid of upholstery, rattled bones and generally threatened to fall apart. But when I asked about the age of the car, the driver proudly said, “This is an old timer, they don’t make them like that anymore, it’s a miracle, not a car.” Well, he named the price for travel two times lower than that of competitors. #Montenegro
