It's been a while since I've flown on an Airbus. And apparently that’s why I managed to forget how cute they are (compared to Boeings, of course).
Firstly, after you wash your hands, you don’t have to press the button to drain the water from the sink. For a tired traveler, any movement is difficult :)
Secondly, Airbuses have a normal indicator of the “occupancy” of the toilet (the one on the roof in the aisle, and not on the door). Boeing made it using a hard-to-recognize strikethrough. But Airbus is great. On their planes, the indicator simply changes color (green or red). And finally the chairs. They are comfortable to sleep on. Today we flew to the UAE (on the way to Nepal) in a half-empty A320 plane and everyone who wanted (me!) took three seats to take a nap while lying down, and not as usual. So, in the Airbus you can’t feel the joints between the seats at all, even when you’re lying on your back. This is the most brilliant invention of mankind, nothing less :) P.S. I fully admit that Boeing also uses comfortable sleeping seats. But I don’t remember about it. So it would be reasonable for him (Boeing) to invite me to evaluate the consumer qualities of their seats.
