Crimea Says Farewell to Bird Flu

Quarantine period, caused by bird flu spreading and introduced to three Crimean townships has been officially terminated today.
UNIAN agency, referring to Ivan Bysyuk, chairman of the State Department of Veterinary Medicine, informs that isolation period is over to Beregovoye village, Primorskoye township and Ordzhonikidze township.
Thereby, according to Mr. Bysyuk only four Crimean townships of Dzhankoy, Kirov, Belgorod and Feodosia regions are still kept in quarantine. As a reminder, about 20 Crimean townships were kept in quarantine. “The situation has become stabilize, new affected centers have not been detected”, reported Ivan Bysyuk.
Commenting the incident happened to Alushta town, there dead wild birds were found, Ivan Bysyuk declared that the birds had died because of cold. The materials were sent to laboratories, the results will be ready in few days.
