White rock

White Rock is many centuries old. Numerous settlements of the primeval people have been discovered and investigated here. The primeval used the caves as a shelter, besides the place provided a great variety of animals to hunt. It can be said White Rock is a historical place.
An important historical event took place there during the period, when Crimea was joined to Russia. In 1777 Suvorov's headquarters settled there. In the year 1783, on the 10th of June crimean beys sweared allegiance to Russia in the presence of prince Potiomkin. They gave the oath on the top of the White Rock.
