It is a nature monument (1964), a state nature reserve (1974). The real steppe vegetable and animal associations reserved there. Saline vegetation is widely spread in virgin seaside steppe. The savory and other plants grow on the sand dunes. Steppe, painted in gay colours of tulips, is of great interest. Golden, read, pink and even white flowers create a wonderful live mosaic against the background of green spring steppe. We are impressed not only by its beauty, but also by amazing suitability to drought-afflicted local conditions.
