It is a reservation (1980) on the Tarkhankut peninsula.
Here, by Atlesh, over the extent of the Southern Tarkhankut Coast, for 3 kilometres, in the result of wind erosion and destruction by sea surfs, picturesque inlets and spongy rocks, vast grottoes, coastal niches are forming, and here and there - beautiful stone arches.
Here, the nature created a small palaeontological museum.
In one place, the imprint of a fossil fish, the length of which exeeds 1 meter, was found, in other place - the fossilized onkolyth colony - stone "swellings", in forming of which fossilized seaweeds took part, was found.
Size of some oval onkolyths in this unique natural collection reaches 45 sentimetres in diameter. The coast in Atlesh area can reveal much to an attentive observer.
