Ak-Kaya (White Rock)
Ak-Kaya is also of great interest as an archaeological object. For the first time in Crimea, here the skull wreckage of the grown-up Neanderthal man was found, and at the foot of the rock, scientists dug out about 20 encampments of primitive men of the Muster Age (100-40 thousands years ago). This area was excusively convenient for dwelling: abundance of grottoes and roofs, river water, flint deposit. At last, the highest and the steepest rock was convenient for driving beast-hunting.
