Antalya airport map

Antalya Airport is a fairly new (launched in 1998) and well-planned complex, and the Turks are a welcoming people, always ready to help. However, before departure it will not hurt to get acquainted with the layout of Antalya Airport. I haven’t marked all the objects on it, but this will be enough to get your bearings.

Airport diagram.

Antalya Airport (code AYT) includes three terminals:

  • International Terminal No. 1 - I will talk about it most of all, since “our” flights arrive there.
  • International terminal No. 2 - serves mainly charter flights.
  • Terminal for domestic flights - flights within Turkey.

To find out which terminal your flight will be served at, check out the online board of Antalya Airport. This is important, since there is a huge distance between the terminals (about 3 km - see the diagram). You can get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 by taxi for about 5 Euros.

Layout of Terminal No. 1.

Terminal No. 1 is located closest to the exit to the city. Literally 200 meters further is the terminal for domestic flights. If you face the main building, there will be a departure hall on the left (hmm...) and an arrival hall on the right.

Venue.

Attention to the participants of our hikes in the mountains of Turkey. In some cases, we arrange a group meeting not in the center of Antalya or at the bus station, but right at the airport. In this case, the meeting place is the benches to the right of the exit from the arrivals hall of Terminal No. 1. Exit the Terminal onto the street, immediately turn right, walk 4 meters, turn right again and see those same benches.

We (the main group) will get to the meeting point no earlier than half an hour after arrival. If you do not show up at the meeting point, we will wait for 40 minutes, after which we will leave for the route.

Transport.

There is a lot of transport at the airport: tram, bus, taxi. If you arrive in the middle of the night, the easiest way to get into the city or to the bus station is to use a taxi (about 90 liras according to the meter). At other times of the day, it is much cheaper and often faster to travel by tram.

If you want to save money, you can go to the Domestic Terminal. From there there are buses to the city center and the bus station.

You can also rent a car - rental offices are located at the exit from the arrivals hall.

If you arrived on a package from a tour operator, find its representative at one of the counters (see photo). He will show you the right bus.
