This report is about the tour: Velo-Satori
Video report on a cycling trip across Crimea (Velo-Satori route) in June 2010.
On this bike trip, I kept the camera handy at all times (I secured the case to the handlebars). But as practice has shown, this is completely insufficient. You need to attach the camera to your helmet and film while moving. Otherwise, it’s difficult to “capture” the dynamics of a bike ride, its crazy pulse. Unfortunately, I don’t have such equipment yet, so I had to shoot “from the ground” (and not “from the wheels”), thereby dooming myself to constantly lag behind the group. I used halts and technical stops to the maximum, filming everything - the braking of the group, the halt itself and the repeated acceleration.
The result of all this hectic activity was 3 gigabytes of video material, which I successfully (as it seemed to me) processed into a 3-minute video report. Look!
I will post photos from this bike trip a little later in a separate article.
By the way, for those who notice what’s “wrong” in the photo at the beginning of this note - 5% discount on any of our bike trips.
