Official holidays May 2017

Official production calendars provide the following information: In 2017, the May holidays (May 1 and 9) fell at the beginning of the week - Monday and Tuesday. Therefore, there is a high probability that the official holidays will be combined with the next weekend, but a single “May holiday” may not work out. This means that everything will depend on the specific employer. So, if you are not going to stay at home, it makes sense to talk in advance with your boss about the cherished days from May 5 to 8.

Lyrical digression:

The weekend in May is a long-standing tradition. The government simply cannot violate it. After all, this week is not only a long-awaited respite for city dwellers tormented by lack of sleep, traffic jams and gray winter in an office that is boring to hell. This is also the time for some primitive ritual of meeting the Sun, greeting the awakened nature

The ritual has many options: barbecue in the forest, planting potatoes or hiking in the mountains. The main thing is to get out into nature, and what you do there is not so important.
