Tourist map of the Carpathians (Polish 500 meters)

Tourist map of the Carpathians (Polish 500 meters)

Excellent tourist topographic map of the Carpathians. Covers the following areas: Svydovetsky ridge, Montenegrin ridge, Marmaro massif and a small fragment of Gorgan. The original paper map also contained detailed maps of the villages of Rakhiv and Yasinya (1:15000). The scale of the main map is 1:50000, i.e. 500 meters in 1 centimeter (or 500 meters) in human language. This map was made by the Poles (although I could be mistaken - maybe it was the Czechs), and they did it very well.

They provided her with GPS coordinates. All signatures on the map were made in Ukrainian, English and Polish.

This Polish map of the Carpathians shows the main hiking routes, many of which are color-coded on the ground.

The above-mentioned GPS coordinates or map reference are made in the form of a grid plotted on the map with a step of 1 minute (geographical).

Unfortunately, not all the old border posts are marked - on the map I found them only on the Montenegrin ridge, and not all of them, but only the junction ones (unlike the domestic map of the Montenegrin ridge).

The map is unique in its own way - I don’t know any other tourist maps of Svidovets and Marmaros (I will be glad to see them appear).
