For this New Year (2009) we are organizing a winter hike in Crimea. The hike is designed for tourists with some experience - it’s winter after all, on the other hand there will be a minimum of technically difficult sections, but a maximum of beautiful landscapes. We invite everyone. It will be fun... and challenging. The hike begins on December 30, 2008. And if you order such a tour, you can do it at other times.
The duration of the trip is 4 days.
The cost of participation is 1200 hryvnia (including meals, registration with the rescue service and the services of a guide-instructor).
Hiking route by day:
- Simferopol - Angarsk Pass - MAN Glade
- MAN Cave - ascent to North Demerdzhi, tourist site Dzhurla, Radial exit to South Demerdzhi.
- Demerdzhi plateau, Tyrke plateau, Table Mountain.
- Khapahal gorge, Jur-Jur waterfall, return to Simferopol.
This is an optimistic option (assuming good weather). If the weather is harsh, we will go lower, without rising to the plateau.
Our summer walking tour “Water and Stones” is used as the basis for the hike route.
The list of equipment for a winter hike will help you imagine what a bunch of things you need to pack.
Winter hiking is a serious thing and requires some preparation. Therefore, do not put off the decision until the last day - write now.
