On September 27, Ukraine celebrates World Tourism Day. The history of International Tourism Day began on September 27, 1980, when the first World Conference on International Tourism opened in Manila. It was decided to hold World Tourism Day annually on September 27 in various countries of the world under the auspices of the World Tourism Organization (WTO).
Today, for millions of people on our planet, tourism has become an integral part of life with a natural desire to discover unexplored lands, customs and traditions of countries and peoples, historical and cultural monuments.
