K.A. Trenev came to Simferopol in 1909 and lived there till 1931. In Simferopol he had created a lot of his works including "Lubov Yarovaya" play. The memorial to the writer was founded in 1960 (sculptor Balashova - Alekseeva, architect - Kucherova). 3 - meter high statue stands on a two - meter high pedestal, transferring into a wide socle. Monumentality of shapes, their expressive stucco moldering are very well harmonize with calmness and concentration incarnated in the image.
