Ai-Todor cape
Russian-language article (translation in progress).
Nowadays there is a light-house on the peak of the spur; its blinking eye is seen from over 50 miles in the sea. Not far from the light-house remainders of the ancient South coastal forest: thickets of juniper, pistachio-tree, downy oak have preserved. Gigantic millennial pistachio-tree growing near the light-house on the very peak of the cape aroses the most great interest, the tree has entered in the Red book. It is one of the oldest trees in Crimea. On the eastern outlying point of the cape, on the sheer Aurorian rock there is a well-known "Swallow Nest" - a small in some way picturesque castle which has unusual position. It is interesting to look at the cape from the sea, from the Ai-Todor Bay, where regular launches moor to. The rocky island Parus pushed into the sea is very picturesque. On Parus rock you can always see a lot of sea gulls, cormorants and other birds. Those who have ever been on the peak of Limen-Burun (it is one of the prominences of Ai-Todor), on its view ground called "captain's bridge" and have admired the overlook which opens from there, have remembered for sure not only severe mountains but also beautiful buildings of sanatoriums "Dnepr", "Pearl", "Sail" which are situated on Ai-Todor cape.
