19 people went on a hiking trip
Problem: 19 people went on a hiking trip. For each of the tourists they took 3 cans of canned meat and 2 cans of canned vegetables. Question: How many cans did the guys take?
Solution:
- For one tourist there are 3+2=5 cans of canned food
- Then for the whole group there are 5*19=95 cans
Answer:We took 95 cans of canned food on a camping trip
Note: The problem was apparently invented a long time ago. Or this is a problem about very strong schoolchildren (moose, so to speak), whom the geography teacher decided to overload a little not only with adding and multiplying cans, but with a dozen extra kilograms. So that they don’t run too fast along the route and have less energy left for all sorts of stupid things.
The fact is that modern tourists are using classic canned food less and less, and are increasingly switching to dried and freeze-dried products. They contain an order of magnitude less moisture content. And the container weighs less. It's no secret that the main enemy of a tourist is excess weight in a backpack. Although, to be honest, in terms of taste, freeze-dried meat is still inferior to classic stew in cans. So these 19 tourists (not a bad group) could just be gourmets :)
