A couple of facts about Lofontaine:

• The Lofoten Islands are located beyond the Arctic Circle
• this is where the Maelström whirlpool is located, in which Jules Verne sank his Nautilus
• The Gulf Stream thoroughly heats Lofoten, and the islands are quite warm
• in July we will have a big hike in Lofoten
