The special beauty of the hike is that you can see places that are difficult for others to access. Skógafoss waterfall is beautiful, but there is asphalt next to it and you have to share the beauty (yeah, we're greedy) with a crowd of other connoisseurs.
But a dozen other waterfalls located just a couple of kilometers upstream are no longer needed by anyone except us... Damn, but that’s not interesting either - there’s no one to rub elbows with and the silence is just kind of suspicious :) However, the silence at the waterfall is really strange.
