Transmitting extreme sports at a distance

🗓 2016-06-15

Yes, we did it - we walked the Eagles' Trail in the Tatras, found a safe descent and went down to the shelter before dark (a couple of hours ago I had some doubts about this).
There were very few people on the trail. In 13 hours we met only three people. Another 5-6 tourists passed into our field of vision along alternative routes. And that's it - no crowds or traffic jams, just chains. Apparently they will start a little later - in July.Upon returning to the shelter, I reviewed the photographs taken on the Eagle Trail and came to the conclusion that I had failed in this part of the task. None of the pictures adequately conveys the degree of extreme, the intensity of feelings that you experience while climbing the chain. Or, for example, that joy when a stone falls from under your foot and flies past a comrade crawling behind you. Feeling the stones and searching for a reliable grip is also, it turns out, great fun. But this is not yet visible from the photographs. I'll have to come back to Orla Perts one more time... or two :)#Tatry Mountains #Poland
