According to the weather forecast, a sharp cold snap is expected in the Carpathians on December 28. The temperature in the valleys will drop from +7 to -9. At the peaks it will be up to -18. If the forecast is correct and the wind is really insignificant (up to 15 km/h), then such frost should not be a reason for panic. On the contrary, you can rejoice at the high probability of clear skies and excellent visibility. And then go and check the equipment again, critically evaluate the mat and sleeping bag, shoe covers, mittens and mask.
