For some reason, it seems to me that no matter how monstrous the destruction in Kathmandu may be, no matter how radically it undergoes subsequent restructuring, the city will still retain its face and character. The ubiquitous dust, the chaos of wires and signs, such a charming mess everywhere. Can they disappear, sink into oblivion along with the old pagodas? #Nepal
