We left Deurali in the dark, without breakfast, in order to pass through an avalanche-prone area through snow caught in the night frost. Almost immediately after the village, the trail changed the river bank to avoid two huge avalanche blowouts. In the photo there is an improvised barrier installed near the bypass with a sign “Avalanche risk area” (avalanche risk area).
