The visual beauty of a mountain is not always directly proportional to its height. So Annapurna 1, being an eight-thousander, in my opinion, is much inferior in attractiveness to the “less than seven-thousander” Machapuchara. During the Annapurna Base Camp trek we see the fishtail from many different angles and all of them are beautiful.
