It's nice when your predictions come true. It’s especially nice if pleasant predictions come true. When advertising spring trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, I naturally mentioned everywhere the expected flowering of rhododendrons. Of course, according to the calendar, it’s already time for them, but everything could have turned out differently and some sudden cold snap would have delayed the flowering. And today we crawled to the rhododendron forests and were convinced that in nature everything was going according to plan - the hills and foothills of Annapurra are literally strewn with pink. Up to an altitude of 2900 meters above sea level, all rhododendrons are in full bloom.
