Today in Pokhara, in the window of one of the trekking agencies, I found this photo (two tourists walking along a trail against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains). Everything seems to be correct. But the funny thing is that the left photo does not depict the Himalayas at all, as one might assume given the location (Nepal). This is the Caucasus, or more precisely Georgia, Svaneti. The author of the photo is Lviv photographer Andrey Maygutyak. His photographs from his trip to Georgia are used on many websites (including ours). And now it looks like worldwide fame awaits them.
