Today I noticed that at the checkpoint in Nayapul (the beginning of the trek to Annapurna) there is a sign with a fresh weather forecast for 2 days. The source of the forecast, oddly enough, is not the Nepalese weather service, but accuweather.com
We were promised heavy snowfalls at base camp and the threat of avalanches. Let's hope that by the time we crawl there (in 2-3 days) the precipitation will stop, and all the “extra” snow will have time to fall off.
