Equipment for cycling trip

This list is compiled for summer cycling trips to the Carpathians and spring, summer and autumn cycling trips to Crimea. Is it possible that in summer Crimea you can take less warm clothes and more swimsuits :)

Again, keep in mind that this list of equipment is aimed at ordinary participants in commercial cycling trips, in which a repair kit, a large first aid kit, navigation and kitchen equipment are provided by the organizer and are kept by the instructor.

The basic principle of selecting things and equipment for a cycling trip is no different from preparing for a hiking trip and is described in detail here.

There are just a few additional nuances to cycling trips.

List of things and equipment

First, a short list with the main items of equipment and clothing sorted into 4 categories:

• mandatory - everyone should have it;
• recommended - I advise you to have this with you, but I don’t insist;
• optional - something you can do without, but if you really want to..
• unnecessary - leave it at home, or in the storage room at the station
