This report is about the tour: The Lost World
The sunset in this place is what made it worth getting up, putting on backpacks and carrying both to Crimea. A beautiful panorama, the sound of the winds, the warmth of the rocks, the smell of thyme and juniper. It is worth focusing on any of the senses available to a person and drowning in the euphoria of sensations.
July 10, day one.
A very pleasant feeling came over me when I got off the bus, which took our group to the observation deck, which overlooks Laspi Bay. Especially pleasant after such an industrial city as Zaporozhye. Clean salty air, the smells of herbs, flowers... It makes you close your eyes and breathe deeply, inhaling all the way to your heels, so that you can feel the mountains and the sun.
The first climb to Kush Kai itself was a great opportunity to praise myself for the modest set of things in my backpack. My 18kg behind me made me happy and thanked the site for its repeated calls “don’t take it! don't take it! don’t take it!” After the ascent and the first photo attack on the seascapes, we moved west to our first stopover, the “lost world”. This is the name of a small picturesque piece of land near Cape Aya.
The land side of the tract is covered by vertical walls with a height of up to 560m. (Mount Kokia Kaya) The sunset in this place is what was worth raising your butts for, putting on your backpacks and carrying both to Crimea. A beautiful panorama, the sound of the winds, the warmth of the rocks, the smell of thyme and juniper. It is worth focusing on any of the senses available to a person and drowning in the euphoria of sensations.
July 11, day two
Breakfast dispelled all my beliefs that borscht is exclusively homemade food.) We collected water for borscht from the Arfen-Chair-Burun spring, which delighted us with crystal cold water.
Next is a walk through the forest and three descents to the “wild” Inzhir beach. We laughed as a group that in our time the word “wild” means all services and comfort, with the exception of a jazz bath).
The sea was unusually clean, but cold. And if ever water below 10 degrees would stop us, but not in the case of a two-day hike). The whole squad, smiling, swam, throwing hot pebbles into the water “so that it warmed up”
July 12, day three
The morning was brightened by wild dolphins. These beautiful animals frolicked in the water, causing excitement and screams along the entire coast.
By 11.00 it was already hot, which gave reason to unanimously decide that we really wanted to cover the last section of the hike to Balaklava by boat. There we were greeted by pouring rain, which seemed to be aimed specifically at our backpacks, and wet sandwiches that became even larger and juicier. )
In general, romance and a lot of cool photos.)
