Checkov's Monument was set up at 1953 on the small square near the main path of Seaside Park. Sculptor Motovilov has created an image of writer which is deep in his thought. Concentration of bronze plastic is underlined with geometric volumes of granite pedestal and plinth which designed by architect Polyakov.
