This memorial cemetry exists since the begining of the twentieth century. The first name was of Ioann-Zlatoust. It was reconstructed in 1977 - 1982. Prominent men of science and culture, whose life was connected with Yalta, are buried here. Eminent Ukrainian poet and doctor S.V.Rudansky, landscape painter F.A.Vasiliev, founder of gliding, doctor of Medicine N.A.Arendt, doctor-climatologist V.N.Dmitriev, metallurgist and scientist D. K. Chernov are among them.
