Map of nudist beaches in Crimea

Map of nudist beaches in Crimea

This map shows the beaches in the area of Feodosia, Sudak and the New World. And I found the way to the beaches in the vicinity of Sudak and the New World on one of the forums: “In Sudak, if you walk along the embankment towards Feodosia and go around Cape Alchak along the rocks (in one place you will have to hold on to the cable attached to the rock, but nothing, everyone passes), then you can sunbathe in solitude on the rocks near the water, choosing a flat stone. You must swim carefully: the rocky bottom. If you take a mask with you, you can catch rapans.

In the New World, if you go down the slope before reaching it from Sudak, you can get to the so-called Turtle Beach. I didn’t meet any naturists in Razboinicha (Blue) Bay. There is a very busy movement of tourists and guides there during the day."

Now a big request to everyone who knows other beaches in Crimea or on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. Below are fragments of a map of the entire coast of Crimea. If you know the location of other beaches and can tell us a little about them, then copy a fragment of the map, attach it to a letter with a short description and send it to us. We will post your information on this page. For those who are traveling to Crimea for the first time, this will be a good guide.

In Simeiz, the beach is located next to the city, right under Mount Koshka. You should follow the highway from Simeiz to Kastropol. After passing through the middle of the mountain, go down to the sea. Usually there is a nudist tent camp there all summer. Advantages: first of all, wild nature and isolation from traditional holiday destinations, proximity to the city and a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, in the last season there were conflicts with the local population, who wanted to push out the “wild” tourists from these places. Local authorities only encouraged these conflicts.

Coordinates of another naturist recreation area in the vicinity of Yalta.

From the city center you need to take bus No. 34, or by minibus (landing near the clothing market) to the Nikitsky Botanical Garden.

After this, it is enough to walk about 1 km along the asphalt path to the Botanical Garden pier (motor ships from the Yalta embankment also arrive there), then walk along the shore to the left and go around the beach of the House of Scientists sanatorium,
using the gate for this (or, if it is closed, return to the pier and go to the territory of the sanatorium, since part of the fence is missing there, and then go out to the beach). After this, you need to move along the edge of the coast towards Gurzuf. The road is quite “difficult”, because... you have to jump over stones ranging in size from 30 cm to 1 meter, sometimes making your way between rocks hanging over the water and the sea. Therefore, sports shoes will not hurt. At a distance of about 1 km from the start of the path there is a picturesque beach of medium-sized pebbles, bordered on three sides by rocks, to which people from nearby villages come who want to relax away from annoying spectators. This is the territory of the Cape Martyan Nature Reserve, which is part of the botanical garden. The water in calm weather is so transparent that the bottom is visible at a depth of 3-4 m.

After the first visit, you can return back along the path that goes from the beach directly to the mountain and leads to the bus stop. It’s much easier to walk here than along the shore, but I won’t undertake to describe the road from memory. You need to see it once and remember some landmarks. All vacationers know this trail.
Some beach inhabitants live right in the forest on the mountainside, 50-100 meters from the beach, paying a small “tribute” to the forest rangers who come to check, and enjoying the life of primitive people among relict plants. People were mostly from Moscow, but there were also residents of Magnitogorsk, Donetsk and others.

If you walk to the end of the beach and go around the small cape, you will see a panoramic view of the coast with views of Gurzuf and Ayu-Dag. One and a half kilometers away is the Ai-Danil sanatorium, from which a local bus runs to Yalta. If you walk to Gurzuf (about 4 km), then in front of the city beach there is a semi-official nudist beach (an inscription on the stone wall reports this) with a small number of visitors, but neither in the beauty of the landscape nor in the purity of the water can it be compared with Cape Martyan.

In general, the situation with naked swimming and sunbathing in Crimea has now become very simplified. Along the edges of all communal beaches people sunbathe without anything. This applies to Sevastopol, the Southern Coast, and the Kerch Peninsula.
In the west of Greater Yalta there are many beaches where sanatoriums have not yet been built (the village of Katsiveli, for example) - there is no need for naturists to go to the outskirts.
And on the huge beach of the Saki bay-bar, textile workers concentrate at the train stations, and all the spacious spaces are occupied by ours.
Sports and other activities in the nude are practiced only in Kazantip. Starting this season, there will be a reception for naturists in a boarding house on Kazantip in Tatar Bay.
